# `album.alias.check`

**Check public address availability**

Case-insensitive global alias check without exposing its owner or publication state. Own current aliases are taken; own previous/released aliases are available. Limited to 30 checks per minute per authenticated user.

## Parameters

Passed by name in the `params` object.
